MAISON&OBJET, January's most eagerly awaited fair, is a major event for professionals working in all aspects of design. Every edition exhibits design solutions to visitors from all around the world, who come in search of originality.
This year we will again be in Paris, from 17 to 21 January (Hall 3, stands B2-C1), to present our many product innovations for 2020!
Within the Circle programme, 100% post-consumer recycled plastics will be the focus at M&O, including Tierra: the first tableware collection made by recycling disposable water bottles. In 2020 the collection will be expanded and completed with new pieces to make it a big collection.
Comprising tableware and beverage items, Tierra will meet all the demands of people who are committed to sustainability in their daily lives but still want style and beauty on their tables.
Also recently launched is Twist: a fresh, fun, colourful collection, ideal for summer lunches and dinners, it can also bring extra cheer to tables on cold winter days. For this line, Guzzini has succeeded in combining 100% recycled material and high-grade acrylic material. Once again, the company reveals that beauty, convenience and ethics can be united in a single product.
Another Circle-theme product is the versatile, indestructible Ecobeach bag, eco-friendly because it is made from 100% post-consumer recycled, 100% recyclable material, roomy, lightweight and easy to clean. These are the characteristics of the new bag intended first and foremost for the beach, but also ideal for everyday shopping.
The "On the go" collection is also expanded with the new Fashion&Go thermal bags, designed for people who lunch away from home and want to conserve their food correctly in a bag that is convenient, well insulated and waterproof but still extremely trendy, elegant and stylish!
Also for food on the move, the Energy thermal bottle now comes in new colours and new shapes, to meet the needs of an ever-expanding consumer target.
The innovations also include a travel mug and a lunch box, both strictly thermal! These two new entries have shapes and material that evoke objects from the world of the American pioneers. The double-walled steel thermal mug, in particular, is a must on desks all over Manhattan, and in our reinterpretation it is enhanced with a typically Italian design.
In the Home collection, 2020 sees the introduction of BELL, a pendulum clock with an attractive, homey rounded shape. BELL is ideal in the kitchen or living-room, but is also suitable for a kids' bedroom or in an office with a contemporary design scheme.
The Gocce collection also grows! Haphazard assortments of letters, punctuated here and there by iconic designs from the world of the written or spoken word, all in bright colours with clear, attractive graphics. This is the decoration created for the new Alphabet espresso coffee cups and mugs. The graphics stand out to striking effect against the very fine white porcelain, in objects perfect for purchaser-users but also as original, elegant gifts.
2020 will also be full of "Love", the collection with a mood of feelings, emotions and sweetness ..... Cocktail forks, bonbon spoons and lots of new objects created with a special mission: to provide a modern, elegant, original wedding favour for the couples of today
Kitchens will be back in the spotlight! This is thanks to the new series of hand appliances: invaluable aids for the preparation of food, and vegetables in particular.
This new product category comprises three utensils: the Chop&Store manual vegetable chopper, the Spiralize&Go manual spiralizer and the Spin&Store salad spinner.
